Workshop Title: Mastering Social Life Skills

II. Understanding Social Confidence (30 minutes)

  • What is social confidence?

  • Common myths about social skills

  • Identifying personal strengths and challenges

  • Mini-lecture and group discussion

III. Communication Essentials (45 minutes)

  • Verbal skills: clarity, tone, and timing

  • Nonverbal cues: eye contact, posture, gestures, personal space

  • Activity: “What Are They Really Saying?” (body language decoding)

  • Role-play: active listening and feedback exercises

IV. Relationship Building Blocks (45 minutes)

  • Initiating conversations and small talk

  • Finding common ground and building rapport

  • Maintaining healthy friendships and boundaries

  • Activity: Conversation carousel practice

V. Navigating Conflict & Difficult Situations (30 minutes)

  • Recognizing emotional triggers

  • Assertiveness vs. aggressiveness

  • Conflict resolution techniques

  • Paired role-play scenarios: “What Would You Do?”
